Perhaps I will go to Wales this fall. Perhaps. It's beginning to look dicey as I wait for the papers to go through and visa to arrive in time.
But in any case, the sun is bright and I'm curious and somehow peaceful in a rather morose way... Odd really.
It feels like it's all about waiting right now. I'm waiting for my hair to grow out and the economy to get better- for the necessary pieces to fall into place to go to Wales. And if they don't then I'll have to figure out what my next move is... Where to go. What to do. And that feels awkward and forboding, but still peaceful. Odd....
In the meantime I have been eating chicken picnics with my mother and cheesecake with one of my dearest friends. I have many blessings I am thankful for.
Learning more about Michael Jackson has been both enlightening and inspirational. His life and his death.
What an unusual soul. Isn't it funny. His genius was his means of survival. And yet it made him different in a way that probably caused pain. I admire his sense of life and his strong-willed attempts to be himself, despite his doubts about his own worth. I hope I can be that brave too.

Good luck with the visa. You're in my thoughts.
